Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enabling residents to live independently and actively.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Providing care and support to residents, including light domestic duties, coordinating resident activities, and assisting with appointments and shopping.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support services are delivered to residents.
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident information and care plans.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a UK health and social care role, preferably working with older adults.
  • A Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position starts at £13.20 per hour, with enhanced rates up to £14.50 depending on shifts during weekends and evenings. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid training opportunities, life insurance, and a company pension.
