About the Role

The Pensions Process and Training Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that Transport for London's pension administration function receives the highest level of support. This includes translating complex and continually changing legislation, HMRC, and Regulatory guidance into compliant procedures and processes.

The successful candidate will have a high level of technical expertise, with the ability to use various coaching methods to develop the administration team's knowledge. The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, enabling a balance of 50% time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Identify technical and procedural training, development needs, and skills gaps across the function.
  • Maintain a training plan and individual training records to ensure priorities are agreed and delivery monitored.

With a thorough knowledge of the principles and practice of pensions administration, gained through significant experience in the field, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering presentations on legislation change to an administration team and providing virtual and face-to-face delivery of technical pension updates.

Requirements
  • A working knowledge of the Fund Office and its activities.
  • A working knowledge of legislation pertaining to UK pensions arrangements.
  • The ability to use coaching to develop an administration team.
