Job Description:
As a Family Support Worker, you'll be responsible for providing direct support to children and young people, informed by child development expertise. You'll also conduct holistic assessments and co-create support plans with families, as well as equip parents with evidence-based strategies to enhance their parenting skills.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Children's Care, Learning & Development, or Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- In-depth knowledge of frameworks like the Supporting Families Programme and child safeguarding procedures.
- Experience working with vulnerable families in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse individuals.
- A child-centered approach and a genuine passion for helping families thrive.
Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £16.08 per hour, as well as the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment.
