Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Children's Pharmacy Services team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Dispensary Manager in the provision of all operational aspects of the dispensary service.
  • Deputise as necessary in the management of the service, ensuring the rapid discharge of patients from hospital and meeting Pharmacy and Trust objectives.
  • Facilitate workflow for in-patients, out-patients, and controlled drug dispensing.
  • Ensure all dispensary staff work to a high standard in providing quality pharmacy services to patients and other healthcare workers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Direct line management experience and knowledge of procedures for dispensary services.
  • Practice Supervisor Training or equivalent.

About the Role: As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Children's Pharmacy Services. You will work closely with the Dispensary Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and service delivery.
