Children's Deputy Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Deputy Manager to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe post holder will support the Dispensary Manager in the provision of all operational aspects of the dispensary service, including inpatients, outpatients, and controlled drugs. They will also be responsible for facilitating workflow, ensuring quality pharmacy services, and supervising staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Main Responsibilities- Organise and manage the provision of dispensary-based services to agreed performance targets.
- Supervise staff and activities in the dispensary to ensure accurate, prompt, and prioritized work completion.
- Manage stock control in the dispensary, ensuring efficient use of resources, minimizing waste, and promoting the re-use of medicines when appropriate.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate training and competency assessments.
- Ensure the dispensary satisfies all legislation and good practice recommendations for safe storage and supply of medicines.
- Arrange cover for senior dispensary staff in their absence.
