An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join Dimensions' team in Comberton, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will work closely with a gentleman who values his independence and requires 2:1 support. As a dedicated and dependable individual, you will empower him to live his best life by assisting with daily tasks.

About the Gentleman:
  • He is a strong-minded individual with a solid sense of right and wrong, a close bond with his family, and a genuine love for his community.
  • He enjoys visiting a local drop-in centre twice a week, going swimming, and recently acquired a new car, which he is very proud of.
  • He is passionate about photography and collects magnets dedicated to his interests.
  • He has epilepsy and experiences complex seizures that require rescue medication.

Requirements:
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Ability to manage behaviours of distress and create a safe environment
  • Excellent communication skills
