About the Role

We are seeking a talented Activities Coordinator to join our team at Cornerstone Healthcare Group. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for residents with dementia and complex needs.

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare Group provides specialist care for individuals who require support with challenging behaviors associated with neurodegenerative conditions and mental health needs. Our services cater to residents who have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia, often accompanied by an underlying mental health condition.

Job Responsibilities

  • To plan and coordinate engaging activities for residents based on their interests and abilities.
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare of our residents.
  • To support residents in participating in activities and promote social interaction.
  • To maintain accurate records of activity participation and assessment forms.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar setting within the UK is essential.
  • Positive attitude towards residents and a commitment to providing stimulating activities are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, forming positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families.
  • Experience working with residents who have additional support needs is desirable.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) are mandatory.
