Job Summary:

The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a vital role in developing and implementing activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical well-being among our residents. You will work closely with our Activities team to design and deliver engaging programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead activities that foster social connections, mental agility, and physical fitness among residents.
  • Collaborate with external partners to access local resources and events that enhance our residents' quality of life.
  • Design and produce a monthly activity calendar that reflects resident interests and preferences.
  • Foster a culture of participation among residents and staff, encouraging active engagement in community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and feedback.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a passion for working with older adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Proven experience in coordinating events or activities, with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting changing demands.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary:

£12.12 per hour, plus company benefits.

Location:

Waterlooville, Hampshire.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, with variable hours depending on the needs of the home. You will be required to work on an 'as and when' basis to cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness.
