We are currently working with a college in Cambridge who are searching for a Facilities Assistant to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have a previous background working within a college or facilities experience and be looking to try out a new industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the facilities team in ensuring the smooth operation of the college building and site.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for all building and site queries.
  • Conducting minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assisting with the movement of furniture and equipment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within facilities or a similar proactive hands-on position.
  • Hardworking and enjoys working as part of a wider team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills and able to use MS Office.

It would be beneficial if the successful candidate had a background within either plumbing or electrical works.
