Office and Facilities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office and Facilities Manager to join our team at Cambridge Intelligence.
This is a full-time role based in our central Cambridge office, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our facilities and administration needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Office Management:
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve the office space and enhance the work environment
- Coordinating company events, seasonal initiatives, and other activities to promote team engagement and morale
- Providing administrative support to the People Team, including recruitment, onboarding, and HR-related tasks
- Organizing monthly birthday celebrations and other social events to foster a positive work culture
- Managing office supplies, stationery, and kitchen essentials
- Answering phones, managing post, and maintaining office attendance logs
- Facilities Management:
- Overseeing the management of suppliers, including cleaners, stationery, and office equipment suppliers
- Project managing office improvement tasks and ensuring timely completion
- Maintaining building maintenance logs and liaising with maintenance contractors
- Negotiating prices and overseeing work delivery from maintenance contractors
- Health and Safety:
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including running the annual audit with our consultant
- Undertaking regular safety checks, including emergency light testing, legionella testing, and fire drills
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a helpful and organized individual with previous experience in office and facilities management. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges.
You may also have experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, supplier and contract management, general office management, event coordination, recruitment administration, and first aid and fire marshal training.
