About the Job
As a Therapeutic Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to young adults, promoting their independence and self-advocacy. You will also work collaboratively with the in-house team to achieve positive outcomes for our young people. Our comprehensive induction program and ongoing training will ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with young adults and the in-house team
• Provide one-to-one support, promoting independence and self-advocacy
• Carry out regular checks and assign tasks as required
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements
• Previous experience working with young people in a similar environment (desired but not essential)
• Full training provided, including administration and laundry skills
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Driver's license preferred but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
