We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Care and Social Support Specialist in Newbury, Berkshire.

Job Description:

  • This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the successful candidate to provide high-quality care to residents with complex needs, working collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure excellent standards of care.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in care, preferably in a residential setting, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, including clinical, social, and emotional support.
  2. Work closely with the nursing team to monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns.
  3. Participate in resident assessments, contributing to the development of care plans that meet individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
