IT Asset Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Applications and Assets Configuration Analyst. This exciting opportunity will allow you to support and develop the Trust's IT asset register, configuration, and process documentation library, and associated systems.
Main Duties- Take ownership as an Information Asset Administrator for IT systems associated with hardware, software, and user account-related asset and configuration management.
- Support and lead (where applicable and delegated by the Digital Infrastructure Manager) on the development of the Trust's use of IT asset and configuration management systems.
- Work with the Digital Infrastructure Manager, IT Security Manager, and IT Support Manager to lead and coordinate action on the recovery of under-utilized assets and where intervention is needed in respect of asset failure rates, visibility, or updates position.
- Assist the Digital Infrastructure Manager, IT Security Manager, and IT Support Manager in the organization and coordination of planned downtime windows as required for the maintenance of IT assets, working closely with Information Asset Owners, IT support staff, and service stakeholders.
- Support and contribute to the delivery of work packages as defined by the Digital Programme as agreed between the Digital Programme and the Digital Infrastructure Manager, including assistance to colleagues in specifying requirements and the implementation of IT assets.

Requirements- Significant asset or change management experience within an IT Department.
- Experience of information asset administration.
- ITIL Qualification, PRINCE 2 Foundation, and evidence of continuous self-development are desirable.
