We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for independently identifying, assessing, and diagnosing speech, language, and communication impairments, selecting appropriate patients and type of therapy for effective treatment.

They will also be responsible for making differential diagnoses based on evidence from assessment, designing appropriate treatment based on analysis of profile of need, seeking advice as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience and expertise in specialist speech and language therapy, as well as knowledge of the EHCP process.

Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Essential: Qualified speech and language therapist with a well-established knowledge of a range of clinical disorders, assessments, and appropriate therapeutic interventions in specialist field.
  • Desirable: Member of relevant CEN graduate qualification in relevant area, Attendance at relevant courses, e.g. language and / or speech disorders, Experience of carrying out supervision and appraisals.
Location and Salary

This role is based in Bedford Borough, with a competitive salary of $63,132 - $104,674 per annum.
