Job SummaryWe are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Community Mental Health Teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with other services within the Trust and other Trusts within the ICS to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Provide protected clinical supervision to junior doctors and medical staff.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
- MBChB and MRCPsych CCT or CESR in general adult psychiatry.
- Predominant experience in general adult psychiatry.
- Evidence of ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of previous leadership experience and/or motivation in developing medical leadership.
- Excellent relocation package (if applicable).
