We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Community Mental Health Teams in Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
- Lead clinical teams, providing guidance, support, and supervision to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and programs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and research activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- MBChB and MRCPsych; CCT or CESR in general adult psychiatry.
- Evidence of ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
- Evidence of previous leadership experience and/or motivation in developing medical leadership.
