Consultant in Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Older Peoples Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and professional leadership to the medical team working within the service.
The successful candidate will have a CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or be gaining this within 3 months. You will have experience working within a range of older people's community services and possess excellent communication skills. You will also have experience working within an MDT and be able to provide clinical supervision to the medical team and wider MDT when required.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality patient care and professional leadership to the medical team working within the service
- Providing clinical supervision to the medical team and wider MDT when required
- Designated training responsibilities for junior doctors
- Engaging within the trusts Clinical Governance structure
