Job SummaryWe are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Integrated Community Mental Health Teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that promote recovery and wellbeing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and policies that promote high-quality care and patient safety.
- Provide education and training to staff and students on mental health and learning disability topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of service evaluations and research projects.
- MBChB and MRCPsych CCT or CESR in general adult psychiatry.
- Predominant experience in general adult psychiatry.
- Evidence of ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams.
- Evidence of previous leadership experience and/or motivation in developing medical leadership.
