Job Responsibilities

This post includes 1% category B availability for out of hours on-call duties. As a consultant psychiatrist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional leadership and contributing to the multidisciplinary community team
  • Working collaboratively with other services within the Trust and other Trusts within the ICS
  • Providing protected clinical supervision to the Core and Higher Trainee and SAS Doctor
  • Working jointly with the Clinical Leadership Structure, Operations Manager, and Head of Operations to ensure the service is delivered successfully
Person Specification

We are seeking a consultant psychiatrist with:

  • MBChb and MRCPsych CCT or CESR in general adult psychiatry
  • Predominant experience in general adult psychiatry
  • Evidence of ability to work well in MDT
  • Evidence of previous leadership experience and/or motivation in developing medical leadership
