Home Care Support Worker

Salary and BenefitsThe role comes with an attractive salary range of £13.00-£20.00 per hour, depending on the day, with weekday rates at £13.00-£13.50, weekend rates at £14.00, and bank holiday rates at £20.00. Additionally, you'll receive a 70p travel allowance and be eligible for our Care Friends bonus scheme.
Job DescriptionAs a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care duties such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Administering medication under the guidance of a healthcare professional
- Manual handling, using equipment where required to ensure safe lifting and movement of customers
- Promoting customer health and well-being through support and encouragement
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a car
- The right to work in the UK
- An excellent level of English language proficiency

This role is based in South Somerset, and you'll be expected to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and alternate weekends. However, we strive to provide flexibility to balance your work and personal life.
