About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team in the Corporate Solutions London Wholesale market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting Renewable Energy risks under construction and in operational accounts for both onshore and offshore.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Underwriting existing and new clients in the wholesale London market
  • Extending our footprint as a recognized insurance partner
  • Assessing risks, coverage, terms, and conditions
  • Supporting the growth of associated lines of business by actively cross-selling their capabilities
  • Contributing to the development of solutions and marketing strategies tailored to our clients' needs
  • Acting as a point of reference for Renewable Energy technical issues and staying up-to-date on new technologies and market trends
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Underwriter with a strong understanding of complex program structures, including International Business and Fronting. You will need to have:

  • 10+ years of underwriting experience in Renewable Energy
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance, Renewable Energy underwriting, and the London wholesale insurance market
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A strong sense of ownership for timely and high-quality delivery with customer focus
  • Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills

The role requires regular interaction with a global underwriting community, some degree of flexibility in terms of working hours is expected. The position may also require some travel.
