Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of support workers and senior support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans for children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Conduct regular supervisions and performance management, providing feedback and coaching to support staff development.
  • Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate, including care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
  • Participate in physical intervention and personal care, as required.

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 in Childcare or Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Shift/team leading experience
  • Superb communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to lead and motivate
