Job Title: Care Manager for Residential Childcare in Meldreth

Aurora Meldreth Manor is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Care Manager to join our team in Meldreth. As a Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role:

  • To provide leadership and management to a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver high-quality care.
  • To be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • To ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • To work closely with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • To undertake regular sleep-in duties and participate in on-call rotations as required.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must hold a QCF Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in residential childcare, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated understanding of child development theories and their application in practice.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
