Aurora Orchard Manor, a leading residential care provider in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team of dedicated professionals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. Our state-of-the-art facility provides a supportive living and learning environment that fosters independence, personal growth, and social skills.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual who can lead a team of support workers and Senior Support workers in maintaining a stable, happy, and caring environment. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional support to our residents through the work of the care team within a residential environment and with off-site activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and mentoring a team of support workers and Senior Support workers to ensure excellent care standards
  • Inducting new team members and their continued mentoring and development towards QCF and other mandatory training
  • Carrying out supervisions and dealing with Performance Management issues within your team
  • Taking an active role in ensuring that activities are completed, and effectively delegated and day-to-day implementation of young people's individual program plans are carried out efficiently with adequate cover available at all times
  • Ensuring that all documentation is kept up to date
  • Undertaking sleeping-in duties, waking night duties, and duty manager/on call responsibilities

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including life assurance, enhanced pension scheme, and access to shopping discounts through Perkbox.
