About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Maycroft Care Home in Royston. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of stimulating and engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and Head of Dementia & Wellbeing to implement Advinia's Wellbeing and Engagement Programme - S.P.E.C.S.
  • Design and organise activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including individualised 1-2-1 activities.
  • Develop and manage meaningful engagement programmes that encourage residents to maintain their hobbies and interests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, residents, relatives, and friends to participate in the Home's engagement programme and promote a whole-home approach to activities.
  • Arrange trips and outings to enable residents to engage in off-site activities and maintain their hobbies and interests.
  • Support the creation of an engaging and stimulating environment throughout the Home that meets the needs of our residents.
  • Contribute to fundraising opportunities to supplement the activities budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity budget spend and ensure risk assessments are completed for all activities and outings.
