Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader to join our team at Oakwood Grange in Barnsley. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement individual care plans, promoting independence and dignity for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including personal care, medication management, and emotional support
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with the care team and residents
  • Lead and manage the care team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition, ensuring prompt action is taken
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures
