Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our specialist residential service, providing care and therapeutic support for children and young people with severe and profound communication difficulties.
About the Role:As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and senior support workers, providing a stable, happy, and caring environment for our young people. You will work closely with the Care Managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support, promoting the health, safety, and welfare of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of support workers and senior support workers, providing guidance and coaching to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
- Develop and implement individual program plans, ensuring the needs of our service users are met.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the residential service, including the management of rotas, leave, and training.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the appointment of suitable candidates.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support, making recommendations for improvement.
- QCF Level 3 in Childcare or Residential Care (or equivalent).
- Shift/team leading experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure.
