Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Packaging Lead - Technical Operations to join our team at bioMérieux BV. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical expert to lead and manage packaging processes, drive process improvement projects, and oversee the introduction of new or transferred products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support and Process Improvement: Provide technical support for packaging processes and coordinate process improvement projects to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
  • New Product Introduction: Coordinate the introduction of new or transferred products, including equipment specification, testing, qualification, and validation to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Laboratory Deviation Resolution: Investigate and resolve laboratory deviations, proposing actions to minimize rework and improve process capability.
  • Process Validation: Lead and develop strategies for process and cleaning validation activities, including validation protocol preparation and sampling oversight.
  • Team Development: Train and develop Technical Operations team members and educate other departments on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Performance Management: Manage the team within the performance management system, including coaching, mentoring, and conducting 360 appraisals.
  • Quality and Compliance: Support quality systems and compliance initiatives and lead cross-functional teams for specialist topics.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects, including the maintenance budget and capital plan, ensuring effective management.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable Experience: Proven experience in pharmaceutical packaging, preferably in a process support environment.
  • Education: Degree in Science or Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
  • Communication and Influencing Skills: Proven technical communication and influencing skills to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to work on multiple priorities and manage projects in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Analytical Approach: Analytical approach to problem-solving with ability to manage multiple priorities.
