Job Description

As an Orthopaedic Theatre Lead, your main duties will include:

  • Providing support and senior cover in the department as required, including weekends and night shifts.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
  • Liaising with other teams and departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 1st Level live NMC Registered Nurse or HCP Registered Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Registration as a Mentor.
  • Diploma or extensive experience and knowledge within the perioperative environment.

Desirable qualifications include a Leadership course, Management Training Certificate, or Degree in nursing/health-related topic. Experience in teaching and assessing, auditing, and change management are also desirable.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £62,000 - £72,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package.
