We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Teams. As a key member of our team, you will provide occupational therapy interventions to support individuals in achieving their best possible outcomes within their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to enable individuals to achieve their goals and improve their mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and carers to develop and implement personalized plans that promote independence, empowerment, and recovery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services that are responsive to the needs of the community.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in occupational therapy and mental health.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy models and policies relevant to mental health and community settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting the values of NHS Scotland through your work and attitude.
  • A desire to continue learning and developing your skills and knowledge in occupational therapy and mental health.
