About the Role

NHS Scotland is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services that meet the needs of our communities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to enable individuals to achieve their best possible personal outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
