This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced HSQE Manager to join Ardmore Group and contribute to the delivery of our high-profile construction projects.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our Health & Safety Standards throughout the project duration.

The estimated salary for this role is £68,000 per annum, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project health and safety champion and coordinator, assisting the Project Manager in discharging their duties regarding health and safety on site.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to Site Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the senior Health and Safety manager for advice or to organize internal or external training.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Collaborate with Site Managers to develop and maintain accurate method statements and risk assessments.
  • Organize a project health and safety award scheme and coordinate Site Leadership Meetings.
  • Prepare a monthly H&S overview report with Environmental/Sustainability Summary, where relevant, for inclusion in the project monthly report for the Client.
  • Identify opportunities for low-carbon construction methods and environmental good practice.

We're Looking For:

  • At least 3 years' experience working in a similar role within the building construction sector.
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (advisor)
  • NVQ Level 5 in H&S/NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice (for manager)
  • +IOSH graduate membership (for managers)
  • Appointed person A61 Lifting operations (desirable)
  • Temp works coordinator or supervisor (desirable)
