Job Title: Senior Care Assistant - Full Time Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at South Moor Lodge Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent leadership skills, and ensuring that high standards are maintained throughout the shift.
  • Complete daily medication rounds, document accurately, and ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Promote good practice, challenge poor practice, and ensure that all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure, lead a team, and maintain high standards.
