Job Title: Senior Care Assistant - Full Time Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at South Moor Lodge Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care to residents, supporting them with daily living activities and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Conduct daily medication rounds, ensuring accurate and timely administration of medication.
  • Document resident care and support activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in shift handovers, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
