Job: Front Office Application Support Analyst

Location: Hybrid

Salary: £80,000

Harrington Starr is seeking a Front Office Application Support Analyst to join their existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and functional process on applications within the Securities Financing and Trading department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and functional process on applications
  • Undertake daily operational checks, investigating and resolving any issues identified
  • Follow the procedures to send service requests and to escalate problems
  • Gather functional requirements from front, middle and back office investment management system users
  • Maintain market awareness and provide new solutions to the business
  • Respond, evaluate and prioritise requests for assistance from users experiencing issues
  • Study and provide tactical solutions when necessary
  • Ensure you provide training to clients when processes change, or new functionality becomes available
  • Provide expertise in technical analysis to enhance business process change

Technical / Personal Skills

  • Must have 3 years' experience within the Asset Management industry
  • Experience working with Equities and Fixed Income
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills are necessary
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and their application
  • Great oral and written skills
  • Great judgment and ability to identify problems and escalate them when necessary
  • Excellent ability to build business relationships
