In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a market-leading food service company in the UK and contribute to creating exceptional food experiences for our clients and customers.

The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Overview:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets our clients' and customers' expectations. You will also oversee and implement menu changes, identify opportunities to improve our food services, and listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets our clients' and customers' expectations
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and presenting recommendations to management
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Compass UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, have experience supervising a team, and be flexible in their approach to working.
