Role Overview

This Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Sudima Kaikōura offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead our restaurant team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food quality, and driving sales growth.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. If you have experience in a similar role, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well under pressure, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
  • Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies, as needed
  • Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges
  • Track daily costs and revenues
  • Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
  • Coordinate with suppliers as they deliver food product orders
  • Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
  • Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)
  • Report maintenance and training needs
