Catering Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Canterbury, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of food to customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure all food items are stored correctly and meet health and safety regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, with efficiency and safety.
  • Contribute to stock control and restocking supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Assist with food waste management and recycling initiatives.
  • Support the kitchen team with any other duties as required to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge, with a Food Hygiene Certificate being a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
