Sales Business Development Director

Our client, a prominent business in the food industry, is seeking a Sales Business Development Director to drive the future growth of their business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust sales strategy, supported by the Directors. Your expertise will be essential in creating and executing a sales strategy that aligns with the company's ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Monitor sales activities and reporting as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar sales environment within the food industry, preferably within Meat, Fish or Poultry
• Strong network and credible relationships - Food service/ Discounted Retailer client base
• Excellent knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
• Proficient in administrative tasks, such as creating reports and analysing data
• Be open to travel as needed to meet with customers
