Job Description

Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

SF Recruitment (Leicester) is working with a leading SME Business in their search for a qualified Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to a supportive Finance Director. As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the Finance Director to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes and procedures
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background in financial planning and analysis
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
