About the Role

United Talent Agency (UTA) is seeking an experienced professional to join our Music Brand Partnerships team as an Assistant to Agent. This role will provide administrative support to our Music Brand Partnerships agent, working to execute brand partnership deals and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Music Brand Partnerships agent in managing a high-volume inbox and partnership deal flow, calendar, and preparing for meetings internally and externally.
  • Support in tracking new business targets across brands and agencies.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and draft correspondence for pitches.
  • Support in the execution of brand partnership deals.
  • Liaise with external clients and partners, and internal staff at all levels, joining calls and sending follow-ups.
  • Work with other agencies to obtain client briefs and opportunities.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities and support new business initiatives.
  • Conduct research and create presentations with the team.
  • Create and manage marketing materials for brand and artist pitches.
  • Track contracts, client calendars, and payments through detailed grids.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports for review and submission to Finance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a brand, marketing, or advertising agency.
  • Understanding of the landscape of brands and marketing agencies, and how they operate.
  • Comfortable working across a range of clients and areas, from soft drinks and beer to sneakers, and an understanding of the wider entertainment industry.
  • Experience creating decks and writing copy for pitch material, or adaptable experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of social media metrics and audience data.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop business relationships with clients, senior-level executives, and colleagues.
  • Proactive, curious attitude, and a willingness to contribute creativity and problem-solving skills.
