United Talent Agency is seeking a highly skilled Assistant to Agent, Music Brand Partnerships to join our team. As a key member of our Music Brand Partnerships division, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Music Brand Partnerships agents.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the music business and a curiosity for how artists can integrate with brands beyond concerts. You will be responsible for supporting the execution of brand partnership deals and administrative tasks, including tracking contracts, new business outreach, artist and brand pitching material, diary and travel management, maintaining spreadsheets, tracking payments for deals, managing artist schedules, coordinating with managers, brands and colleagues at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist an Agent in the Music Brand Partnerships division, working to help manage a high volume inbox and partnership deal flow, calendar, prepare for meetings internally and externally
- Support in tracking new business targets across brands and agencies
- Maintain spreadsheets, and draft correspondence for pitches
- Support in the execution of brand partnership deals
- Liaise with external clients and partners, and internal staff at all levels, join calls + send follow-ups / take note of next steps
- Work with other agencies (e.g. PR, brand and media agencies) to obtain client briefs and opportunities
- Be able to spot organic growth opportunities and support on new business opportunities
- Work with team to conduct research and create presentations
- Create and manage marketing materials needed for brand and artist pitches as needed by Music Brand Partnership agents
- Track contracts, client calendars and payments through a series of detailed grids
- Prepare monthly expense reports for review and submission to Finance for approval
- Responsible for finance across all deals, liaise with artist & buyer teams.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a brand, marketing or advertising agency
- An understanding of the landscape of brands and marketing agencies, and how they operate
- You could find yourself working across a varied range of clients, and should be comfortable thinking across a range of areas, from soft drinks and beer to sneakers, as well as an understanding of and curiosity about the wider entertainment industry
- Experience creating decks and writing copy for pitch material, or an adaptable experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of social media metrics and audience data
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload with a busy inbox, managing several projects simultaneously
- Ability to develop business relationships with clients, senior-level executives, and colleagues
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client service-focused work environment
- An interest and understanding of the latest platform developments and capabilities across social media
- A proactive, curious attitude, a willingness to 'go the extra mile', contribute creativity, and be a team player and problem-solver
- A passion for the work out clients do, with a forward-thinking outlook, focused on elevating our clients and helping them succeed.
