About the Role

Hunts Recruitment is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to work in supported living and residential services in the Fareham area. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a team providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and emotional behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, including those with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs.
  • Observe, monitor, and record residents' conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
  • Support individuals to live independently, aiding with hygiene duties, emotional well-being, and independent living skills such as cooking or accessing the community.
Requirements
  • An Enhanced online registered DBS or willingness to obtain one.
  • A minimum of 6 months care experience.
  • Evidence of care-related training completed (training can be provided).
  • A full driver's license (not essential).
  • Two employment references, including your most recent employer and all care-related employment.
  • Empathy, caring, and resilience in nature, with a desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
