Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to our client, Verity. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring Verity's physical and emotional needs are met, enabling her to live a fulfilling and independent life.

About the Role:
  • Provide personal care and support to Verity, including hoisting, bathing, and dressing
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support Verity's social activities, including outings and hobbies
  • Communicate effectively with Verity using non-verbal methods, such as body language and facial expressions
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care work, preferably with individuals with acquired brain injuries
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to Verity's changing needs
