Empowering Learning is a leading provider of SEND services, committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential. We are seeking a skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Burton.

The successful candidate will have experience working with young people, be highly organised, and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to create a supportive learning environment that promotes the growth and development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day-to-day running of the class
  • Assist children during lessons and school activities to promote a supportive learning environment
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group activities tailored to each child's needs, fostering their growth and development
  • Collect evidence of children's work to inform their assessment and support their educational progress
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting, is essential
  • Highly organised individuals with excellent communication skills are highly sought after
  • A genuine desire to work with, inspire, and support children is crucial
  • Interest in supporting young people with various SEND requirements is highly valued

Salary: £18,562 - £22,100 per annum (dependent on experience)
