We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN/SEMH teacher to join our team at Academics Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting young people with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges. As a SEN/SEMH teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth, social development, and emotional well-being.

About the Role:

  • Deliver creative and engaging Maths or English lessons to small classes of children (8 max) with SEMH needs, promoting individualized learning and progress.
  • Provide therapeutic support to students, focusing on addressing educational, social, and therapeutic needs, and promoting overall happiness and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement tailored support plans, ensuring consistent and effective interventions.

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS or relevant experience as a teacher
  • Professional or personal experience working with vulnerable children, including those with additional needs, challenging behaviors, or mental health needs
