About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Function work, including up to silver service level food preparation
  • Work collaboratively with a team of chefs to ensure seamless service
  • Follow recipe cards to prepare, cook, and serve a variety of meals
  • Complete daily paperwork to ensure due diligence
  • Assist with deliveries and stock checks
  • Place food orders and maintain kitchen records
  • Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries
  • Assist in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all menu items served
  • Manage production and food levels to minimize waste
  • Act as a trainer/coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks
Requirements
  • Relevant culinary qualification (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent)
  • Excellent team player and communicator
  • Confident and experienced chef
  • Security checks and DBS required for this role
  • Flexibility and ability to innovate
