Job Overview

We are seeking an Immunisation Nurse to join our team at Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare Trust. As a member of the School Age Vaccination Service, you will support the safe delivery and triage of nasal flu and other vaccination programmes in Bromley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess young people for immunisations, understanding pre-requisites, contra-indications, aftercare, and relevant advice.
  • Contribute to child safeguarding and adhere to local guidelines.
  • Understand Patient Group Directions, relevant chapters in the Immunisation Green Book, and storage instructions.
  • Participate in health promotion and education activities related to Childhood Immunisation Campaigns.

Requirements
  • Previous NHS experience
  • NMC Registered
  • Experience working with people in care settings
  • Desire to deliver compassionate hands-on care
