Job Summary
As an Aerospace Hardware Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU), you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology. Our team is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Ground Terminal Department in Harrogate, UK.

About the Role
This position involves providing operation, maintenance, and repair for the ground terminal architecture at a customer's site as part of a highly skilled and specialized team. You will leverage your background experience and skills to provide time-critical observation, assessment, repair, and monitoring of complex communications systems and data links, ensuring sustained operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying technical knowledge of electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions and apply skills to restore mission critical operations at the system, sub-system, line replaceable unit, and board level.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, repair/replace, and install various types of electrical equipment and devices related to all aspects of satellite communications.
- Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer's manuals or similar documents.
- Utilize sound technical writing to document equipment failures, prepare status reports, and assist in developing concepts of operations (CONOPs) and improvements to the operations of communication systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) plus 2 years of relevant technical/engineering experience OR Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 0 years of relevant technical/engineering experience.
- Willingness to complete a two-year overseas tour commitment.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year
