The Cavendish Laboratory is a world-leading academic department at the University of Cambridge, renowned for pioneering physics and groundbreaking discoveries. Our new state-of-the-art, multi-million pound Ray Dolby Centre will be the centrepiece of the new Cavendish Laboratory.

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to one of our Senior HR Coordinators, the role will provide clear and accurate advice on procedure, coordinating the recruitment and visitor processes and the onboarding of new starters (including dealing with all immigration and pre-employment paperwork).

About You:

  • You will have previous HR experience and worked in a customer-focused environment, preferably in Higher Education.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to produce work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office packages, highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise workload within a demanding environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
